Welcome to Trending 10 and today we’re going to be counting down our picks for the ‘top 5 hints that prove a new Harry Potter ride is coming in 2025.’ If you’re a true Potterhead, and are still waiting for the next Harry Potter rollercoaster ride

  1. 5: J. K. Rowling tweet

Since 1997, Harry Potter series have fascinated the hearts of millions of people. The beginning of the movie came from a fantasy novel written by J. K. Rowling, who definitely knew how to win hearts of millions. Harry Potter series have been the most prominent and important series of all time. Not just the movie, after the first novel was published, it set the whole world on fire. The book has sold more than five hundred million copies by 2018, making it the best-selling book series in history. Not forget to mention that it was such a successful series that its book was published in eight different languages. That’s a great record. It is a series of many different genres like, fantasy, mystery, school age, and also other specific genres like, adventure, thrill, horror, and romance as well. We can imagine how popular the series had been. And after that much success, Harry Potter fans have been feeling half a heart after its last movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part-II, which is obvious. And grabbing on to rope of hope, they’ve all been waiting for the next series whole heartedly. We just can’t imagine the end of this fantastic series. And most of us want it to continue forever. But is there really another part to come? Will Warner Bros. be granting our wish? It’s a matter of concern not just for specific audience, but for the whole world. The first clue that sets our minds to rest and gives us a little hope of expecting the next Harry Potter series is predisposed by the writer herself, on her twitter page. That’s right. J. K. Rowling posted a tweet hinting towards the sequel of our most favourite series. Back in September 2019, Rowling tweeted about the Harry Potter next movie, giving an origin to spicy rumors about the sequel. It was enough for all of the Potterheads to grab their hearts and hope to see their favourite actor reappearing on the screens.

  1. 4: Daniel Radcliffe’s hinting reviews

Rowling can’t stop, just can’t stop writing about Harry potter, the main reason that led its 8 parts to light up the world with magical fantasy of the movie. As much as she worked on her perfect series for us, we can expect her to be hating the end of Harry. No doubt that it had been nearly nine years since the release of last Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows part-II, and the movie hasn’t left its place in our hearts. Soon after the release of its last part, Warner Bros. announced the release of new series, The Fantastic Beast, and tried to replace the missing diamond of every era with it. But after the release of the movie, one thing got very clear to the world, that nothing, literally nothing can fill the void of Harry Potter. Not just the storyline, its characters can also never be replaced or forgotten. It’s just that they fit so well with the storyline, proving that they were meant to be in that movie. And the main character, Daniel Radcliffe has always managed to get a special place in our hearts. The character fits so well on him that he’s often called as Harry instead of his real name. And most of us have also grown up knowing him by the name, Harry. Being so special to everyone, even his little words of cue led more than half of the audience to believe that we will see Daniel as Harry again. As far as the news is concerned, none of the main cast like, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson has said anything about the sequel. But Daniel Radcliffe was reported hinting about the next Harry Potter movie. during an interview with IGN, he said, “I’m sure there will be some other version of it; I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m gonna see in my lifetime,” He continued, “It will be interesting to see how long those films stay, it feels like there’s a sacredness around them at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point.”

We can thank Daniel for giving his fans a frenzy ride full of suspense, till the movie is really announced.

  1. 3: Matthew Lewis posted a clickbait

As we know that Harry Potter series were made from the published work of J. K. Rowling. Another fact far concerning is that the there hasn’t been any other novel or any news about new Harry Potter book being published anytime soon. This clears the fact that the upcoming sequel of Harry Potter movie is not written by Rowling making this play greatly different from other Harry Potter series. We’ve been hearing thousands of people making rumors or just being concerned about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and will it be coming out. But a little incident that took everyone off the road was this little tweet, by Harry Potter cast, Matthew Lewis. He posted a tweet that reads, “New Harry Potter  film with original cast to begin shooting in 2020.” The tweet immediately attracted viewers and got spread in seconds. Not just that, Matthew also added a link in his post. The link however, broke millions of heart as it turned out to be the address of a clickbait. The link didn’t direct viewers to a news report on the Harry Potter film, but to the UK voter registration website. Turning out, Lewis was creating awareness for the upcoming UK general election. Tweet has received over fifteen thousand retweets and more like a fifty thousand ‘likes’. People’s reaction to that wasn’t against what Matthew posted. Someone commented “As someone living in the US could you do this again next year? And we’ll played sir!” one person wrote. “This is clever. This is genius,” wrote another. Even, one fan shared a reaction GIF, in which Professor McGonagall is awarding “10 points to Gryffindor!”

  1. NO. 2: New York Daily News Report

Since 1990’s, Warner Bros. has been working hard in the collaboration with J. K. Rowling, the writer of our childhood fantasy. Just how the series kept on achieving success with smooth pace, an end to its series shook the whole social media. At the gala opening, Rowling stated, “No. No. He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know. So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, No, Harry is done now.”

The statement do got a lot of people mad and depressed at the same time, still it wasn’t enough to bring our hopes down. Potterheads still showed a sensation of great hope. And their stamina was boosted up when the Warner Bros. itself claimed to be having Daniel back as Harry Potter in the movie. According to a report in New York Daily News, Warner Bros. is planning a new Harry Potter movie based on the West End play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Sources say that the company wants same adaptations been made in 2020, bringing Daniel back as Harry in the sequel. A well=known source from the report in NY Daily news says, “Warner is secretly working on getting the movie rights and a screenplay settled, and of course in their minds only one man (Radcliffe) should be Harry. However he has made it clear that his mind is certainly not focused on returning to the role anytime soon, and that could be until he hits 40.” The news still gives hint of the fact that Daniel hasn’t just backed off from the Harry Potter series. This means that sooner or later, we’ll be encountering Daniel Radcliffe as our favourite character on screens.

  1. 1: preview of upcoming sequel

As much as the world was concerned in knowing that rather there will be a sequel or not, our minds were relieved when a preview of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was shown on 7th of June, 2016. The play isn’t written by our Harry Potter official writer, J. K. Rowling, but the writer of this play is Jack Thorne. It is a two-play sequel and the preview do give us a storyline or shall we call it a prologue. The story begins after 19 years of the last part. Surprisingly, the play contains offspring’s of our favourite main characters from the previous Harry Potter series. In the play, Harry Potter is now head of the department of magical law enforcement, and his young son is to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The story revolves around Harry Potter defeating Lord Voldemort and this life event having affect on his young child now. From the story of Harry, e can expect his son to be like him. The cast is announced to be the same, with returning actors actors Anthony Boyle, Poppy Miller, Jamie Parker, Alex Price, and Paul Thornley. Seems like we’ve got the exact hint we were looking for. This explains the new Harry Potter play to be releasing in the coming years. We sure can wait till 2025 for this worthwhile sequel.
