Xiaomi Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker With 20-Hour Battery Life, IPX5 Water Resistance Launched in India

Xiaomi Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker was launched in India, and the Chinese electronics giant has already made purchases on Mi.com. This was announced by Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi’s global vice president, via his Twitter handle. It features 5W sound, up to 20 hours battery life, and support for voice assistants. Mi Outdoor Bluetooth speaker price is Rs. 1,399, which is a 30 percent discount from the claimed MRP from Rs. 1999. There is only one color option listed on the site is black.

The Mi Outdoor Bluetooth speaker is very light and compact, making it easy to carry anywhere and everywhere. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices, and connects via Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker has a frequency response from 20 to 20 kHz. The 2000 mAh battery included in the headset will give you 20 hours of music playback, according to Xiaomi. It has an IPX5 waterproof rating which means you don’t have to worry about splashing water on it but don’t try to jump in the pool. You can use any of your favorite voice assistant but you will need to press a button on the speaker first to activate listening. It also allows you to answer and end calls, which indicates that it has a microphone as well. Xiaomi says it is a “high-sensitivity microphone and high signal-to-noise ratio”.

The marketing material states that the diaphragm is made from the Canadian long pulp vibration film which, together with the damping system, produces a “more natural and clear” sound. There is also a passive radiator on the Mi Outdoor Bluetooth speaker which produces better low-frequency sound effects.
